The Thai food we had was the best of the 4 days.

The Chinese food was a major disappointment. The Western food was just ok. And the Jap food wasnt that great. Actually, they were all not very good. And all exorbitant too. Prefer home-cooked food here, haha.

And we did nothing else but shop.

And when it all ends, i see before me a week of intensive pia-ing for my mid-term. Which is in 10 days. GAA help!

We went to the Carlsberg brewery today and alot of fun taking photos, getting awed, and getting drunk with the 2 free drinks we entitled to. We were nine people in total, and its always fun going places with alot of people! We took too many pictures, so im gonna have to picasa much of them to save you from getting eyesores.

Oooh. They also had horse stables at the brewery!

The horses pull these great big carts which were packed with cartons of beer bottles.

Each cart weighs about 2000kg! Luckily the horsies are strong, and each of them about 900kg.

They are huuuuggge.

Our entrance tix of 25dkk includes 2 complimentary drinks from the brewery bar!

My first one was a Tuborg Gold and it tastes Awesome…

Very unlike the bitter and sucky Tiger beer.

I tasted some of the other’s beers and i didnt like the one they said was made of apple. It tasted like shit.

I think Kay’s drink was the best.

Haha.

The guys were hungry, so while they were grabbing food i had nothing else to do but take photos.

My buggies – who was getting bored being stowed away in my bag for so long - came out to say hello!

We walked along the west coast of the place near to the turning torso where we could see families strolling along the paths, tourists snap-a-snapping, and dog-trainers erm.. training their dogs.

We were going to MALMO, in Sweden!

Malmo is only 30mins train ride away from Copenhagen. Its pretty convenient & confortable, and costs dkk 118 to get there~

(Day five and six of introduction week)

It was friday and we had a couple more information lectures to attend… This was taken outside Solbjerg Plads, our main school building – with JJ from SMU!

Had meatballs with rice for lunch at school. The heap of meatballs is one humongous portion, and this dish costs 27.50 dkk, about S$7.60… EXPENSIVE. But no choice, i didnt have time to prepare lunch that day. :(

And this is where we can sit down and mug – at the main hall of Porcelaenshavn. (i still cant spell them properly yet). Taken with Angie (HK) and Jean (Thailand).

This is one of our very funky libararies.

It doesnt have ANY books at all. Only tons of comfy sofas and chairs and study tables with their own lamps. They’ve got “E-BOOKS” here though. So u could access them via the computer terminals.

No dancing. Just drinking and watching the Soccer match between Denmark and Portugal.

This afternoon when we woke up, we went to Emdrupborgkollegiet (phew!) the Residence hall to visit our good friends from HK! They had a meeting – to discuss and plan our trips around Europe during our holidays. So cool and sooo systematic. Just like a certain Hongkong-born chap i know.

HAhaha. So fun. We visited their rooms too.

But then after about an hour we had to rush home, cos we had to get ready for the Welcome Dinner at Solbjerg Plads!

The Welcome Dinner would be the dinner and dance to end off the intro week with a damn noisy & smelly bang!!!

***Smelly, becos i hate smoke from cigarettes.

Today was pretty much just a information session at CBS.

How to use the IT Facilities. Hows the life of a CBS student like.

We played games at the 2nd talk, because they were stressing how much CBS courses depend on group work. So they were talking a little on group dynamics and cultural shocks, which i feel, are extremely relevant and very true!

The food at CBS campuses are slightly cheaper than outside, and a wide selection too.

Lotsa pasta and salads, but not in very big portions though – like buffet style and stack all u want in a bowl.

Their MEALS are in HUGE portions, however!

Here’s how the canteen at Dalgas Have looks like. So blue! Its pretty nice.

Danish Patries are Everywhere! They taste good but they’re not cheap.

Went grocery shopping again. Bought a bottle of milk to quench my thirst and fill my tummy. It costs only dkk 7 & it makes me full. Haha.

I bought another ice cream cone again today.

Sat down at the bench and took photos of the area near my hall. Gorgeous, i think.

It was forecast to be rainy today, but somehow, the rainclouds didnt come and Denmark was cool and sunny today! Awesome weather for just sitting around and relaxing.

We cooked almost the same things as yesterday.

Just that it was pasta instead of spaghettis. It was pretty yummy! Had veggies too, the same as yesterday…

Also cooked a portion for Helen Jones (UK), cos she was cooking in the kitchen too and she likes chinese food apparently!

We watched the movie “CARS” on yong’s laptop. It was good…

I should’ave seeked the advice of some friends to purchase winter clothes here. Its not too expensive, and in some cases, even cheaper than elsewhere!

I was eyeing on this coat since the start of intro week, at the federiksberg mall. It was at the atrium, on sale! But i couldnt fit into the smallest size on display nicely, yong said i was swimming in it.

Today, there were a larger selection of whites. So pretty…I tried my luck asking for the smallest size. They actually had XS!!! And so, i bought it. DKK 200 = SGD 54. Not too bad right?

Yay.
