Dont ask me why i look chubbier now la. So evil. :’(
Angry.
Dad said its time for me to lose some weight liao – hello who’s telling who ah?
Mom said she feel like calling me Fatimah. Huh. Is that supposed to be funny?
So insensitive. -sniff-Ahem.
Im happy with the way i look, so zipit & quit comparing.
Lala.~*~
Its just totally unjustified if i dont post up the pics of FOOD i had in HongKong!
So im gonna do that now, so that i can drool over them when im all alone in Denmark with nothing but bread and tasteless fattening food to eat everyday.
WARNING: Not suitable for people who have not eaten for the past 3 hours.
—
The first day Gordon brought me out, we had Japanese food with his brother and sister-in-law at Shatin Shopping Centre.
Twas not bad! I loved the succulent eel & sashimi.

But his brother also ordered exotic yakitori.
Like Ox Tongue. And Chicken Softbone.
PLEH.
William is definitely more adventurous than Gordong. (Thank God)
…

Oh you MUST try this if you go HK.
炖奶 by the Yeeshun Milk Company.
*SLURP*
Its very 滑and 淡, and it tastes wonderful.
We had 2 bowls at Times Square while waiting for Goo & Aunty Ida.
…

Have i ever mentioned that goo loves babies? She SO does. Next time if you need a nanny, call me. She’s darn professional and very very sweet and loving. She practically brought me up!
I love her.
Ok this place is Aladdin Mess, near Times Square.
I know. Strange name right.
Its got all the exotic curries from Palestine or something.
We had fish in curry, mutton in curry, chicken in curry, beef in curry and some other weird curries.
All taste very exquisite with varying levels of spiciness. Loves it.
…

Breakfast with googoo at 大家乐!!
I love their macaroni meals. They just taste muy fantastico.
…

Dinner at 大家乐 with goo and gordong.
The standard of their food is just UP there.
Way above singapore’s standard for the price we pay for the meals!!!
I miss 大家乐…
…
Now comes my favourite.
Are you ready?
.
.
.
.
.

Dim Sum!
DIM SUM!!!
DIM SUM!!!
Why cant they serve cheap and good dimsum like these in Singapore?
Im hungry already.
…

Wanton mee!
Small small bowl with deeeelicious tasting wantons 5 times bigger than those in Singapore.
Boo singapore wanton mee stalls. Buck up man.
The only complaint i have for this is that the bowl is really PATHETICALLY SMALL la.
+
Dessert at 许留山. Yummilicious.
…

i’ve mentioned this before la
The most delicious beef brisket noodles.
Its the soup base that makes it taste so fantastic. They’ve been boiling the soup since wee hours in the morning, thats why the soup is so sweeeeet.
Mmm divine.
…

And even MORE DIM SUM.
This time we had brunch with Gordong’s daddy too.
…

Ham and cheese Spaghetti in a huge serving that gordong couldnt even finish.
Now THATS what i call, gargantuan.
And check out the REAL chunks of ham. Not some measly thin slices.
The best part is that our meal only costs about $8 each, complete with hot bread, soup, milk tea and the main course.
The food is AAA+ Standard! 10/10
I had garoupa baked rice and i dont even know how to begin.
I had 2 large slabs of luscious garoupa fillets, each one about the size of my hand. Both were juicy, tender and soft. And the mozarella cheeeeseee… woah.
Simply delectable.
And i think i will do you guys a favour and stop describing my food.
…

Last but not least.
Our other favourite beef brisket stall at sheung shui near gordong’s house.
I had wanton + beef brisket noodles and gordong had beef ball + beef stomach noodles (urgh).
Mine was simply HEAVENLY!
His…
I cant say much about the stomach. But would you just check out the size of the beef ball!!! YUuuumay. Oh so Savory and extremely pleasing to the senses.
Yep okay.
Now go get some food & wipe off that saliva.
Cos I’m getting some nibblets for myself right now.
Sigh.
…And the Food Withdrawal Symptoms set in.
Its a miracle. July 29, 2006

That i could actually get SICK OF SHOPPING.
Is there a term for this?
Cos… I think im Shopa-phobic now.
Anyway, here’s some of my loots from my 2 weeks of non-stop shopping:
First in HongKong, then in Bangkok.
Oh heavens.
You can find all the tees that you need in Bangkok. And lotsa bags for cheap.
Go to Hongkong for Girlie Tops and bottoms. All so very cute, chic & fashionable!

*Non-exhaustive.
Too sian to take pics of ALL the loots to put up. There’s just too many la! :/

The BESTest buy.
This is just THE PRETTIEST PAIR OF PEEPTOEs I’ve ever set my eyes upon.
I bought it for only 199 Baht in Bangkok!
A Fantabulous steal – Its just so darn worth it.
And its super comfy too.
~*~
I wore THIS pretty tee back to Singapore…

And…Oh how i love it.
Hahahaha :b

First day at Suanlum.
Great FOOOD! The fried rice was worth salivating for. And cheap cheap!
The c-o-c-o-n-u-t was a real thirst quencher cos it seemed to provide a neverending flow of sweet coconut juice.
Aunty yuen is a really really awesome lady. She’s beautiful, elegant, sweet and real caring! Kinda made me wonder what i’ll be like when im older. I hope i can age as gracefully as she does and not become some crazy wire-haired ahsoh bargaining like siao at the market for 50cents cheaper a pieca meat.

[1-3] Suan Lum Shopping at night after dinner.
[4-6] Breakfast same same every morning. Going to the ladies same same after breakfast everyday.
[7-12] Taking the MRT to MBK and Siam Square! Cool experience. But taking cab is always the faster and cheaper way in Bangkok.
[13-15] Donuts at Dunkin Donuts, MBK.
*[14] A Poor Unwanted half of a donut which nobody wanted to eat cos we were all so darn full from just ONE donut each already! Its amazing how u can get full by eating just one ring of dough.

Day 2, MBK and Siam Square.
Shop. Shop. Shop. Until. You. Drop.
Bargaining is so fun. Even if its just 20 Baht less. :b
We had A&W for dinner. Which was a waste cos there was better food to be eaten but i guess we were all tired and needed a place to rest our poor soles.
See pic 7: Nivea Men’s WHITENING!!!
What in the world..??? Hahaha. I think Thailand’s trannies to men ratio is probby 1:1. Their birth rate is bound to decline if this goes on!
I bought this pair of humongonous buggies which i looked like a housefly in but got it anyway cos it looked so cute hahaha.

Roadside Chicken wings for 5 baht each!
Oh So Delicious!!!
And… Haha motherbig tee shirts that could fit both Mel & Mel.
Honestly, One size fits ALL.
As in, all of us. Together.

Mel Wong really dares to eat ANYTHING! Even the roadside stalls…
And Mel C loves to take photos too.
Swensons! Yum.

Shopping at Platinum Mall.
Haha i even took pics with the shop keepers!
Last pic: Brave jo who went for a haircut in Bkk for 200 Baht.

How could i NOT eat Mango Sticky Rice when im in Thailand?
It was SOOOO good.
Except twas a little too sweet for my liking. :/
The Food at Platinum mall foodcourt aint really nice.
Save for the MNG Sticky Rice & Pepsi.

Feigning an attempt to complete a PA report in its entirety and hand it up by tonight because i’m flying off at noon tomorrow…

I need to psycho myself.
I love NTU!
Erm, Yay.
…
But I love Travelling & Shopping more.
…
But I love Gordong the most.
*Read my previous entry.
I was boiling. Hopping mad. *Explode*
He cheered me up and vanquished whatever ‘hatred’ i had at that instant.
He even succeeded in making me feel guilty at myself being quick to anger.
You broke your record dear.
The sun shone 30minutes after the furious typhoon ripped through the house.

I love you.
